SRT4 Greddy Catch Can Dump Day!

So the other day I took apart my Greddy Catch Can for the first time since purchasing the car. The bolt behind the can was a bitch to unscrew and screw in later on. I was surprised to see how it did work. It did catch some oil from the vacuum lines. I highly recommend this for anyone. they do not seem hard to install or anything. Here are a few random pics I took during the process of taking apart. I did find some oil below the can on top of the tranny. I can't locate a leak. I'll have to look closer. Looks very minor but nonetheless something that shouldn't be ignored.

does your catch can have a drain on the bottom? My catch can does and it leaks from the drain.

I've never installed one, just have the dealership drain the pipe before the intercooler at oil change time.

If your referring to the engine bay. The valve cover is from modern and is the only blue they offer. As far as the injector cover, I did that with a paint pen. those blues are different. so yeah. otherwise no two tone on the actual exterior paint anywhere

Mine came already installed Gramps but it looks easy to do. Its funny when I take the silicone hose out of it while its running you can hear it sucking the air well. MPx just came out with one as well. Its not a bad investment and seems simple.

Some have a drain. Mine did not. I just unhooked everything and turned it upside down.

The leaking at the drain (vacuum and oil) is the reason why BWoody didn't put a drain in, or a site tube.

Yup. I know it's not two tone. Just with all the doors opens and dark lighting it looks like it's 2-tone.

r u sure thats a Greddy Catch Can? Mine looks nothing like that.

Add a drain in the bottom so u dont have to take it all apart.

Yes it is. It may be a different version. I'll take closer pic so you can see it for proof if u need it......

miss crystal im not sure if the oil is from the catch can. it does need a new silicone hose though. I'm trying to find the culprit from where this oil is coming from. hopefully it is just a minor leak from it that will be solved by the new hose and/or new fittings

It's probably from the silicone sight glass hose. Nothing else over there would leak oil like that.

thats what Im thinking. I looked everywhere for the right size hose yesterday. went to like 6 different places. no success. i'll keep looking cause the hose needs replaces. It no longer sits tight in the fittings
