I say this a lot, but I'll say it again.

Make sure the coil pack connector and the cam senor plugs aren't switched.
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

Unplug the cam sensor and see if it will start.

You already have a post about this. Don't make another.

Me having my cam off 1 tooth on my 98 sohc made it not fire injectors. If the cam magnet is not oriented correctly, you will not get spark.

if your running the stock 2.4L cams you do not rotate the cam sensor, leave it alone. you have other issues.

you only need to rotate if you run 2.0 cams

is there anyway to check if the pcm is bad, cause that would make sense why i dont have power to the coil pack, injectors, cam sensor and everything else on the engine,i have power on the fuse bar.????

Is the crank sensor working? Do you have any codes/CEL?

If you unplug the cam sensor, it should still get spark. The cam sensor is mainly there to time the injector sequence to the cam phase. It will run but not well without the cam signal. I wasn't aware it would not with the wrong cam signal tho.

IDK is the wiring colors are the same on 1gn or not, but the Cam sensor should be pin 1] Orange (5 volts) 2] Black/Light Blue (Sensor Ground) 3] Tan/Yellow (CMP signal)

Coil is 1] Dark blue/Tan (coil control #2) 2] Dark Green/Orange (+) volt supply 3] Black/Gray (coil control#1)

If the wire colors are the same, you should be able to tell if you spiced the wrong one.

The Orange wire is the 5 volt supply to the crank, and cam sensor.

The Dark Green/Orange wire is the 12 volt supply to the coil and injectors. It is powered through the ASD relay. Assuming 1gn and 2gn are alike. I don't have a 1gn manual to refer to. :(

u are right the green/orange wire does go to the injectors, coil and shut down,i stripped the green/orange wire and hooked a direct hot wire from battery to that green/orange wire that goes to those parts and i still didnt get any spark<all i need is the motor to run i dont need any interior stuff at all,so all i have been doing messen with the wires under the hood, there are only the ignition wire hooked up and the clutch that is comen out of the fire wall if that makes it any easier<is there something that goes in threw the fire wall that i am missen, thanks for suggestions

You probably fried something wiring it directly to the battery. I'd be certain of it. I'm not sure we can help you.
