Passt - Thanks

Canada - what you doing tonight? i have to make a trip up north to the in laws. will be cruisin back down tonight around 9ish. text me for coffee tonight if your around.

LSP - Sounds awesome. nice and quiet at idle. loud as shit over 4k. I have a nice 36" resonator in the tunnel. I am not taking a picture of it as I will get flamed SOOO bad. still learning to weld, so it looks like dog shit. need less to say, it works, and is quieter than the 2.5" borla that was on it.

Only thing left to make it a full 3", is the turbo itself :evil2:

Sooooooo already have 3 muffler tickets, not for noise. boooooo. i can fight them all and win, because the retards won't listen. But i don't have the time to keep doing this. going to make a 3" single exit out the left side of the dual outlets.

anyone have 3"

exhaust piping and some bends?

It may be that some states wont allow the exhaust to exit in front of the rear tire!!!!only behind it

75. (1) Every motor vehicle or motor assisted bicycle shall be equipped with a muffler in good working order and in constant operation to prevent excessive or unusual noise and excessive smoke, and no person shall use a muffler cut-out, straight exhaust, gutted muffler, hollywood muffler, by-pass or similar device upon a motor vehicle or motor assisted bicycle. R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8, s. 75 (1).

.....how can a muffler be improper, if there wasn't one from the factory? lmao.

I can't find any reason why exiting in front of the tire is illegal. I have only come accross heresay about where it CAN exit, nothing legally written in the HTA or Safety act. I'm not a lawyer, and have no money for one. I would LOVE to put this to rest for all of my neon brethren. The HTA says "beyond" not "behind".

You know how many CDN SRT owners have fought that ticket themselves?

Bring in a copy of a print out from Dealerconnect showing the factory muffler less exhaust diagram and the page from your owners manual that states that your car did not come equipped with a muffler from the factory. Present that to the justice in the court and there is no room for argument.

That's exactly what I've done, the turbo "is" a muffler which is why we don't need one.
