OB is the guy to talk to.

He was running I think some 50 series on his 15".

On tires or sizes? I think the best you can run on your stock wheels is a 205/55/15. Beefy, yet small enough to look good.

I think that's what you were asking.

205/50/15s work pretty good. If you dont mind your speedo being off a bit.

205/55 will be nice and wide, but the profile is almost the same as stock. It just looks different because the tire bulges over the face of the wheel.

Keep in mind, if you run smaller sidewalls, the overall diameter of the tire will be smaller, therefore tricking your vehicle speed sensor into thinking you're going faster than you really are. The opposite goes for larger profile sidewalls. This is only noticeable with significant changes (more than 10mm I'd say), so don't be too worried. Another thing to think about is the fact that the Neon's wheel wells are very big for the tire diameter, so going smaller will make your wheel gap that much worse, even when lowered.

Oh and one more thing, the major benefit of a smaller tire is a better final drive ratio, which is something these cars badly need. Again, this is most effective with significant changes in diameter.

imo, get the 55's. unless you already have coilovers and are going to slam it, don't go even lower in profile. Also keep in mind that the stock wheel is not meant for a very wide tire. So by going lower profile and wider, you cause an unsafe situation. The tire wants to not seat right on the bead and even come loose if you are not careful.
Yup it definately needs to go lower. If its not scrapeing constantly why you are driving then its not low enough bro.
Yeah I'd say 205 is probably the best bet width wise, 215 at the very most (I've heard of people running them with no issues). 205/55 really is a great size, and it's fairly common selection-wise.

I'd say get some stock SRT rims (they are pretty cheap enough) and then some 205/40/17s. they will keep your speedo correct and you will the low profile tire... Like me :D
