Ok im thinking about getting either anodized red lugnuts or like dark purple. To add just a little bit of color to the outside. I know alot of people dont like color lugnuts..so opinions? Im all about having a clean looking car but i think colored lugs look badass. Haha

Where would you get these lugnuts at? Because I've been wanting to do the same thing.

I say go for it.

Blox for OEM wheels, but they won't fit in tuner lug holes on most aftermarket wheels. Gorilla makes anodized ones but it will chip off.

It's hard to add colored things to yellow cars. I say black blox.

heres the purple ones
http://www.racinglab.com/muteki-c-tn-c-purple.html

and the red ones
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/GOR-21133RD/

i have one red lugnut on my car rite now that i painted with this candy apple red paint(looks like anodized red) and i think it looks pretty sweet because it just adds a subtle touch of color. and its really contrasting the silver more than the yellow

If you want them that's all that matters in the end.

i think both red and purple would not look bad. i personally however, think the purple would be quite appropriate - i always think "royal purple" and "yellow gold" they are very complimentary :/ JUSs sayin.

Anyway, back on topic.

I would pick the purple over the red.

You order the Muteki ones? Damn man wish I coulda got to this thread in time... in 08 I ordered a set of Muteki lugs and they were SHIT. They are smaller than stock, and the 50 miles I had them on they already starting fading. And the anodized coating chipping soo easily. Just be careful with them and throw some coats of wax on them to preserve it. I still hated how they were smaller than stock lugs though.
