Reasonably only another half inch or so to close up wheel gap but then I would fail miserably at getting into the garage and fail miserably at keeping my tires in one piece. I too don't agree with excessive slammage and it would 100% ruin the theme I'm after. The car is low enough for me right now
Like I said if I ever get coils it will be Mopars and since I dont have 2k hiding in my couch...well....yeah that won't be any time soon

I love my spoiler
I can't find any that I like better. I had an original AVS back in 2005 when they first came out and Modern sold them. I ended up selling it because I hated it so much and put my wing back on. Thanks though
Montell: I'm shocked! You're the wheel whore! You'll have to get a set of each in the car's lifetime.

Such an improvement over the old wheels! As you might imagine, since I used to rock FN01R-C's, I love that wheel design. So simple, yet so sexy!
A few thoughts:
- Without the polished lip, the SEE sticks out like a sore thumb. I'd give it the same treatment as the wheels.
- I know this horse has already been beaten to death, but just another 1/2-1" to get rid of some wheel gap and it would be perfecto! I understand your reasoning behind leaving it be, though.
Well done. I never thought I'd see the old wheels leave, so it was a welcome site to see these ones find a new home!

Scott: Thank you! I'd have to agree
Dave: Thanks! Sorry I'll miss you there
Chris: Thank you
Like I said sometime down the road coilovers are a possibility, but only Mopars. I've actually had a few different sets of wheels on the car in the past six years:
- 18x7.5" Katana Destinys Hyperblack w/polished lip (04-06) 225/40
- 18x7.5" Katana Destinys Flat black w/polished lip (06-07) 225/40
- 18x7.5" Zinik Z18 Minardis Gloss black w/polished lip (08-09) 225/40
-17x7" Drag DR-17s - Flat Black 225/45s
I've changed it up quite a bit but this is my first set with no polished lip whatsoever. I like em
They're different. As for the SEE i had considered that but it is a mother to keep clean as it is, if I painted it I'd be painting it weekly :\

Yeah, that cell pic you sent me the other day was too tiny...these look pretty sweet. I think the Ziniks looked too "blingy" for your style. The spokes were high-gloss and didn't go with ANYTHING on the car. These suit the car much better. Oh, and you must show me pics of the pistol grip shifter...I don't feel like searching

Ok, since I don't see an answer anywhere I'll bite. What happened to your progress logs? Why'd they disappear a while back?

Actually, tbh, I've been wondering the same thing
I like the rims, CM. They got a clean look to them, and it really brings out how meaty those tires are [which I read is what you wanted lol]

Thanks everyone, I actually just took more pictures on Monday I need to post them up, looks a bit...different now
. In a good way.
Progress logs were deleted and won't be coming back, no need for them really. Josh backed them up for me and I keep them on my PC now and just write in it like a journal whenever I do something. Less to keep up with

Wow have I been under a ROCK! I didn't realize you'd swapped those rims that long ago CM! They look super sexy on Lucius, especially with the extra touch on the sidewalls. Awesome work as always, and Lucius looked SOO badass in person yesterday (you go!)
