Trying to decide on rims! UGGG
Well I have been looking at rims for about a year now. I think this is the hardest decision Ive had to make. I can never just make up my mind. So here is the one Ive been stuck on for a while. I love how they seem to POP.
18x8 w/ 35mm offset and 215 35 18 tires

Anyone have a pic of these on our car?? Just curious!! Thanks

Speedo...phfffttt.
Mine is off as well, but since I got used to the SRT sized tires, 225/40/18 is no change. All you have to do is get used to where 55 or 60 really is.
More importaintly is the tire fitment. You are really hurting yourself by choosing that skinny of a tire. You will kick yourself in the face later.

If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

Yea. So Im pretty sure Im stuck getting the 215's. No biggie Ive run them on my AVENGER before. I just had to be real careful. Since my front bumper is about 6 inches off the ground Im gonna be careful as it is. LOL.
Thanks for the suggestion. I wish I could find a pic of the wheels on any neon/ Srt. That would really make my decision making easier lol

They will be close. A 205/55/15 (which a lot of people run) has a diameter of 23.9". A 205/60/15 is 24.7" which I know will fit under stock 1gn struts barely. A 225/35/18 has a diameter of 24.2" which should clear the perch.
The wildcard is the 8" width. The 35 offset really moves the wheel to the outside, and with my 7.5 wheels I have more room on the inside than I used to. But how an 8" width plays into the perch I can't say for sure

Yea, 1gn struts aren't like 2gn struts tho. 1gn can clear srt rims stock.
But like you said with different struts it should be able to clear as much as a 1gn.

I personally don't like any wheels bigger than 17", but this one looks really nice.
lol at 30lbs, is that way too heavy for a wheel?
I think tirerack they have a very similar one but only with 17" and 20lbs, forgot the name but much cheaper though.

i thought my 17" adr's at 22lbs each were heavy...
to each their own.. but,
at 30lbs a wheel, not including tire, at least you will look good goin slow as dirt pushing that heavy wheel.. ppl will have time to appreciate their beauty.. nice rim tho, why not get the same style in a smaller lighter wheel?
like these... and they come in 17"s as well it says and save yourself 600$

To be honest I have had 17's on the car and they just didnt fill the wheel are well since I have to run a 40 series tire anyway.
I was also stuck on these for a while but they are hard to find
Enkei ZR1

I saw the AXIS wheels and got hooked on the look of those.
Thanks for all the opinions though. Much appreciated

So, what you're saying is you've driven on northern Indiana / SW Michigan roads?
Every state has it's shitty roads. I'm not saying yours are nicer or worse than ours. I'm saying that you'll be fine anywhere, since a lot of people on here drive with 6" or lower front ends. What I'd be worried about is the tiny tires you'll be rockin'. Those heavy wheels can still bend.

No i havent been out there yet LOL
Yea didnt realize the weight on the wheels. I may switch back to the lighter Enkei Zr1 since they were my original decision.
As for the tires I want to run Bf goodrich g-force kdw's. I want something with a nice reinforced sidewall to help in case I do hit a decent hole. I also will only use them in the spring/summer so from what Ive heard these are a great choice.

Ok well to update everyone. I have a chance to pick up a set of 18x8 TSW Estoril. Its a friend of mines wheels and he wants a security system and remote start for his car and possibly some audio. SO Im gonna go and check out the rims this week and see how they look.
These were my first choice when I bought the car back in 08 LOL. They were on his 08 corolla so Im crossing my fingers the offset and everything is the same.
Heres an ebay link to a set. Just to show the pic.
