Got a question on outside appearance modifications. Questions about body kits, exterior lighting, just anything thats a visual mod on the "exterior" of the car. Ask those questions here.

vis invader hood

Post by dblsg » Sat Nov 12, 2005 3:07 pm

okay, since recently i've gotten burnt on all my exterior pieces- lip kit had two right skirts, f1 fenders where way off... soexcept for the nice wing that i just got ... everything else has been a waste of money... money that i could of used for other things... like a tb, but anyways, i figured i would check with everybody first....

do you guys think the vis invader hood will line up right with my front bumper? since the srt hood is a little bit longer than stock... i'm not trying to have a gap bigger than the one i already have.

I vote that it will have a gap also,.. not much, but I do think it will still look good, and if you do get one,... sell me your SRT hood!,. also wheel is on its way from the exchange, if you still want them.

I have the VIS CF Vader hood and mine fit perfect. VIS is known for thier fitment. You can call up VIS directly and talk to them. They have good customer service. At least every time I called them. And they can probaly make it custom for you if you dont want the gap, if there is one. I highly recommend it getting one. Image

He has an SRT hood that fits on his car though.
And the VIS should hang over the front bumper. If the SRT hood has a gap on SE front bumpers, but not on SRT-D bumpers then a SE hood (in theory) would hang OVER the SRT-D bumper.
Justin- I have nothing but smart ass remarks to add.
