So I was about to get some retrofits done by LSP.... same as Nee but with a blue ring but I came across a gear set on SRTforums for sale.

Has 10k miles and for $300....

If I bought the parts to fix my transmission (3rd gear grindage) it'd be well over that...

Bah!......so It'll be a little while before I am able to get retros now.

fml....

Yes... but car actually moving without grinding 3rd gear > bright lights

I will have retros... just later on

If I fix my 3rd gear I can install the nitrous kit I have laying around...

Didn't feel like putting it on cause I can't shift from 2nd to 3rd fast....

Alright.....definitely need the gears more now.

Went out playing with a few Mustangs and Buicks...and a stroker 6.0 GTO

3rds pretty pissed at me right now.

3rd gear is overrated.

A real man would take it to redline in second and then shift to fourth.

Besides you have boost. All you really need is 1st and 5th. So wait till 2,3, and 4th go completely go then replace the trans.

Oops, meant to say, Theres not enough function from retros, to override the need for 3rd gear. I think atleast thats what I meant.

Looks like you are getting a good deal. I know of so many locals that have problems with 3rd gear. But they drive the piss out of their SRT's and powershift like their is no tomorrow.
