Considering Powdercoating/Painting stock rims. Help me out!

Post by lilnicko11 » Mon May 10, 2010 1:57 am

So for the longest time I have said that I just want to leave my SRT4's rims stock. Then I danced around with the idea of possibly doing them a gloss black with a blue lip. I've had mixed feedback so I figured I'd ask my great fellow 2gners how they felt. This is nothing that I am doing soon, just have it in my head. Thanks guys!!!!

I don't know man... I would honestly have to see the black rim with blue lip photoshopped on your car first before I decide.

If/when you do it, could you post up how much it cost? Im considering doing this, but I figured since it was powdercoat, it would be mucho $$$......

oh, and the black and blue would look sick, do it!

Prices vary by location, you would be better off calling a shop local to you.

My dad charges anywhere from $65-100 a wheel depending size and what you want done. (IE: more trips through the oven = more money)

Some might be cheaper...some might be more expensive..but his quality speaks for itself and his non stop business :P

Yea $50 seems to be the lowest you are going to find per wheel. And that's solid color, not with a different color lip.
