:hello2: Josh & John.

The wheels went with the Neon. Ben, the coils weren't blown as far as I know. They came from Dylan.

I'm uploading the 3 pictures from my cell phone right now. I'll update this log for ya CAM

Nothing crazy. I just raised the car up to a cozy level. Basically right on the tire. Not tucking, but no gap. Headed to get a quote here within the week to get my rust all welded up and painted. Then it's off to clean up the wires in the bay, tighten up the interior, take out the gnarly AFR gauge, and toss on the steelies Chelsea's dad gave me so I can unload these haggard wheels and either get new ones or PLEASE get some OE Honda wheels.

ANYWAY, shitty pics ensue:

When I landed home @ ~1p:

Went to work:

Oh, and ya'll member that skeptic? My shit move on the trade, etc....?

I'd quote Vin Diesel, but there's no need. She's been driving ~ 1/2 the time.

I like it... a lot actually.

+1 on raising up to a practical height

B16A Swap w/ P/S and A/C and you'd have a quick little fun practical DD that still gets awesome gas mileage

You can easily offload those wheels to some ricer and turn around and buy some blades.

I really want blades. Or like Ryan suggested, 99-00 Si wheels.

The car isn't that small inside. That was my finger covering part of the shot haha. It really isn't as cramped as that picture.

Anyway, I've seen at LEAST 3 other civics, same year / body style as mine, with these same wheels, as well as some Slowbalts and shit. I want 'em gone. My ma digs 'em, but I don't. I want either some gold meshies or simple stockies off SOMETHING.

Oh BTW John, I pulled ~44 MPH coming home @ 70mph. I put $13 in it today ($2.63 / gal) and I got 3/4 tank of gas and it's still sittin @ a half after LOTS of running around, showing people, spirited acceleration, etc...

I'm a Honda n00b, but this is the conclusion I've come to:

It's a D16Y8, with VTEC, 5-speed, with a giant Ichiban intake and a purple VC. Includes fugly Konigs and a rusty rear QP.

Yeah. Black headlights are like $75 shipped off the bay, and they are the same style black that I'd paint mine, so we'll see. I might get a set and swap gaskets over. The tails have some cracks and chipping on the inside stuff, so I may just get another set and open them up and red 'em. No real rush though. The HIDs have zero glare, and I've aimed them perfectly IMO. They'd be wicked in real projectors ROFL. I <3 seeing @ night. Lastly, they are like purple, probably 10,000K+ rofl. I'll get some bulbs once I find out what type and get 'em swapped in.

Do you need pics from tomorrow for a sig?

Also, since this IS a p-log....

Stuff to come within ~2 weeks:
1. 30% tint all around ("Happy Birthday!" says Staci)
2. Buff sideskirts
3. Get rear QP quote for fixin'
4. Work on wiring for 3rd brake light.
5. Find out why a bone stock exhaust system is loud like the Neon.
6. Yank ricer AFR.
7. OE lugs / steelies
8. FELPRO exhaust manifold gasket. This fucker whistles if you're over 1/2 throttle.
