It's his part of paying for the new car... the dreaded trade-in partMat00ES wrote:If shes paying for the new car, then why do you have to get rid of the neon?

I could see this be more of a space/safety thing than just space..
Neons don't look like they are that safe but the ones i see in a wreck look pretty safe to me.

yeah i'm with the others, i dont see the point honestly. i say trade in the wife on a new model
but seriously spending money on another car with not much more room doesnt sound like a great idea

This is one of those things I don't get. If my wife wants a bigger car then she can drive it and I'll drive what I want. No way am I listening to someone else when it comes to what I have to drive everyday. If I ever have kids, Which because I hate children I doubt it, I will still have cars that I want and are fun to drive. If she wants a minivan/suv/larger car then she can knock herself out and go get one for herself.

Thank you. Almost daily we read on here that people bail on their cars because wife says they need moar room. Tell her to get rid of whatever she's driving and get a van then. I fit my neice and two nephews in the car COMFORTABLY, as well as my sister sitting shotgun.MoxHair wrote:This is one of those things I don't get. shes hates my neon, she doesnt feel safe in it. its given me nothing but issues since ive had it. its slow and small and still sucks on gas at least mine does. and to be honest i dont think its that great of a car.
she feels its time for a change she wants to get me in something newer and sleeker, its faster with better gas mileage, and unless u actually sat in one you cant say its the same size its definately roomier in the interior. their whole platform was nicely designed. Plus i am getting sick of always having to throw stuff in this neon that i shouldnt have to to get it to run. so Thats the ultimate reason why its not just because its not roomy it served its purpose and was cheap for me to buy at the time and now its time for an upgrade. All i wanted was an opinion on what people thought about the altima itself not our decision to get rid of the car lol. has nothing to do with my balls or my manhood has to do with the fact my wife is willing to pay for a car for me so that she can feel that im safer and more stylish. i dont really see the issue

Nice. So you sell the neon, she buys an altima. A month later you split up and you have no car. Sounds like a great idea.onewickedkid05 wrote:thank u syn see that makes sense.
let me rephrase so it doesnt get confusing. My girlfriend of 6 years who has her own seperate accounts then mine wants to get me an altima for all those reasons blah blah blah.....im not paying for it lol

Honestly, the newer Altimas are nice... and IMO it's definitely an upgrade. I was just questioning the first post earlier as in needing more room.
So your GIRLFRIEND is paying for you to have a car in your name? She's not going to be on the car at all? Why not? If she is a serious girlfriend have BOTH of you on it so you can build credit and when you get married (if)... you'll have good credit for a house.

shes buy my car outright not using credit she cant finace she goes to school full time i got her 2 credit cards and shes got all the bills in her name so im slowly building her credit my credit is SHIT and im legally trying to battle the credit agencies becasue they fucked up and its fucking me up
lol she aint got that much for a lambo. the whole story pretty much is her mom passes with cancer and left her the house and some policies the house is fully paid off and shes got like 200k coming to her so in addtion to building and fixing up some parts of the house she wants to get me a new car and her too to do something nice cause she knows i really want one and ive took care of her and her mom for the past year or two. SO car fully paid for in my name she was thinking about an altima because she likes it overall i wanted ur guys opinion or did you guys think theres a better 4dr sedan. I like it because it gets good gas mileage great room handles like a dream and the v6 has 250hp which for me is like sex since im used to 130 140

If you want to move on, however it happens. Best of luck.
The Altimas do look pretty nice and the 3.5 has a lot of power.
