Call the dealer and talk about the warranty. If you don't put it up front as a warranty claim you probably won't be able to. I don't know if there are rules about that, but if they can charge you instead of Chrysler I'm sure they will. They probably make more off of you than off of Chrysler.

If the warranty wasn't transferred then you don't have a warranty. Call them up and see what you are getting into. It's rare, but I have heard of 04s that didn't have the 7 year/70,000 mile warranty.
If it's covered you will just have the deductable to fix the whole thing.
If it isn't covered then you have a minimum of $100 diagnostic charge.

Your call, but I'd be on the phone with them right now to understand the warranty. There may be time involved with getting it sorted out. If they tell you what's wrong at 4:30p then it's another day without your car. If they know it's warranty up front they will just start fixing it.

That is only if you are keeping the rad trans cooler. Most of the time people use external coolers to supplement the OEM cooler.
Yours will just go from the trans to the external cooler and back to the trans.

Let me break this down a little.
All cars with an automatic have a trans cooler that is located in the radiator (except for some heavier duty vehicles). The problem on Neons is that it seems the OEM radiator trans cooler combo fails (in many people's eyes prematurely).
When the OEM trans cooler fails it inherently floods the transmission with coolant and the cooling system with transmission fluid. When this happens the transmission will fail if not caught soon enough, this will require a total rebuild.
What people have started doing (on this forum, probably not so much outside of the forum) is eliminating the use of the OEM trans cooler. So rather than routing the cooler lines to the OEM cooler they run it to the external cooler.
There is always a chance that it will break, but a solid external cooler should hold up well. If the external cooler breaks it will just run low on fluid and will probably send the trans into limp mode and not shift at all before it really burns anything up.

The fuse assignments are clearly laid out in the cover of the PDC and in the owners manual.

noooo
uhh
i blew my radio fuse that 20 amp one, it yellow.
there was another fuse that was 10 amps and was yellow as well. this fuse was number 19... the layout on the cover of the fuse box said number 19 was a spare. so i figured since it was a spare id just switch it out...
i did not take any fuse out other then the spare... i know all those fuses have a purpose...

You prolly looked at the wrong one, and pulled 17 instead.

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.

You don't have replace the external cooler as a maintenance item.
It's very random when the OEM cooler/radiator fail. My sister's failed at ~140,000 miles.

Then replace it now. I don't understand what you are asking.
If you are scared of it, replace it.

You should search the picture section and see what people have on their car and see what you like.
No one will be able to help you with what you like, that's your opinion.

That's pretty shitty. Took it totally out of context.iskyfly wrote:correct.thisdieingdream1 wrote: i have no idea
I thought you had changed. It appears that I was incorrect.
I look forward to seeing you continue to take peoples words out of context
