well im not getting the gf an equinox, mostly bc they already sold the one she wanted so my dad has his 03 xterra for sale, needs tires and the exhaust has a rattle in it , cel on for gas cap. other then that its in good shape with like 83k miles on it ( might be lower then that i know its somewhere around there) anyways the gf doesnt want it but the things books for like almost 12k still or at least that is what the bank said. so im not getting the intrepid she can keep driving that, and im buy this off my dad if the bank says ok. for $5000 . he has two vehicles this and a gmc sonoma he got a dwi and lost ist license and his job and doesnt need this so he said we are gonna go to the bank and see tomorrow if he can help me get a loan for it . if not he will prolly just make payments to him but would rather have all the $$ up front.

Buy it and flip it. They go for a pretty penny around here. Tires are going to be $500-$1500 depending on what you get and what you will use them for. Gas cap is an easy fix as is the exhaust. It's prolyl a broken hanger.
Buy it for $5000. Drive it for awhile. Complain about the horrific gas mileage (because you will) and then sell it for $10,000 in 6 months or whatever. The buyer wins, you win and pay off the loan and everythings gravy.

i can get tires mounted and balanced for under 400, the rattle is the head shield on near the converters ( i checked) and its gets ok mpg my dad gets 20-21 in town/highway driving im not really worried about MGP its 4wd and a Nissan so its not gonna get good mpg
but ya im gonna buy it for 5k , pay off with income tax , i might just keep it! idk yet.

well the gf went to the bank today and they said she needs a co signer. so wtf!!! didnt need one 4 months ago but need one now.
good thing is the payments are going to be $160 /36 now she just needs a co signer. if not idk . its gonna suck bc i started to part the neon and alot of things are gone! but that ok. i want a diff vehicle anyways.
ima talk to my dad an see if he will cosign for her, bc he changed his mind about just letting us make the payments bc rt now its at 400 month. and he know i dont want to have a payment over 200. we will see!!!

i hate banks the gfs dad co signed but bc he pays cash for everything we need a diff co signer, come on he has at any given time no less then 15k in his checking account and who knows what in the others banks are dumb.....

ok either way im gettin the xterra sometime this week . dads truck is fixed, he doesnt want or need the xterra so im gonna just pay him and drive it after 3 yrs its mine. or when ever i pay him a total of $5000...
now what to do with my neon, i have started parting it, but i am not sure if i want to get rid of it or just get another neon, as long as i dont take up the whole drive way i can have another vehicle. which i am now happy about.
