$7000 FIRM!!!

Up for sale is my 2002 Neon SE with a complete SRT-4 engine/trans/interior swap. The swap was one of the first completed back in 2004, and the swap came out of a hurricane damaged 04 SRT-4. The car currently has approx. 81,000 miles on it, and the swap was completed at 28,000 miles. It's stone white in color, has 15" snowflake wheels with Falken ZE-512 205/55-15" tires. This car is a real sleeper, and has been 100% trouble free for the last 6 years. Oil has been changed every 3-4k with 0w40 mobil 1 and filter. Transmission has Royal Purple Synchromesh changed every 12k. Have K&N filter sitting in a box, but paper filter currently installed.

Specs:
2002 Neon SE body (originally 100% stripped model, including no a/c)
2004 SRT-4 engine/transmission.
SRT-4 side airbag seats and complete interior
Neon R/T shift knob & euro leather shift boot
6-disc in dash chrysler receiver from 05 ram srt-10
oem kicker 6 1/2" components up front
12" kicker comp/200w kicker amp in custom enclosure
magnaflow 2.5" muffler (stock appearing)
Neon struts/SRT springs, SRT front sway r/t rear sway.
Energy Suspension poly bushings all the way around
custom 60a durometer top mount (have lower, haven't installed)
all srt electronics (power windows/locks, cold a/c, etc)
100% OEM cruise control kit installed (and functions perfectly)
Neon front brakes with ceramic pads, acr-r/t rear disc with organic pads.
15/16" bore master cylinder (firmer pedal)
MSD black spark plug wires installed approx. 6 months ago

The Good:
ULTIMATE SLEEPER!
241/268 horse/torque bone stock! http://www.tristatecarz.com/solodogg/dyno.jpg
front tires less than 1 week old, rear less than 1 year old (all have great tread)
alignment less than 1 week old.
low pressure switch replaced 2 weeks ago on a/c, only problem car has ever had!
OEM cruise helps achieve over 30mpg on highway (have seen as high as 35 coming back from Ohio with steelybob)
mid 13 second car comfy enough to take on road trips (been on 12 hour trip to texas numerous times)

The Bad:
had front license plate bracket before I owned, holes have been filled with silicon/paint
typical dings associated with 8 year old car
front grill could use repaint
coast does not work on cruise (doesn't work on any srt cruise install)

contact me via pm or e-mail for more info. i'm i'm Evansville sunday thru thursday every week, Indianapolis every Friday/Saturday if anyone wants to see it.

Awesome car! Why are you selling?

Too bad I don't need a DD....this would be very very high on the list. :)

I could probably easily sell my car to some marine who's brand new for the same price... i'd so buy this car.

honestly...i think i'm going to regret selling it, but i'm getting ready to buy a G8 GT for cheap...and don't really need 3 cars sitting around the house, since I have a company vehicle. This car has been excellent, and 100% trouble free for the last 4 and a half years. I'm sure i'll end up having sellers remorse at some point...but I sure can't pass up the G8 :)

I don't blame you on that. G8s are so nice.

That's what banks / loans are for. Get a loan for the amount, pay him, then pay the loan off to the bank (IE car payments). Problems solved. Then you haz SRT power w/ insurance of a base Neon.

idk about where you live but i know where i live its not as easy as it use to be to get car loans or any loans for that matter,

my gf has had a her job going on 3 yrs had good credit and still cant get a car loan with out a co signer even if we have a down payment.

somehow i doubt she has good credit then. banks can't make money if they don't give any out to people....and good credit/long job history is really the only thing they have to go off of. fwiw...i have no problem getting a loan, and i just bought a house 6 months ago. 802 FICO helps that.

now...back on topic. had some interest, nothing concrete. someone buy me please! :)
