my buddy is in the process of finishing up his 240 and i had the pleasure to be there along with my other to witness the first startup in seven months.. idk whats done to the engine motor work wise but hes got over 7 grand into the car and is the first in the us to complete and make the evo turbo fit on a sr20 heres some pics and the startup vid..oh and the vid is off my phone so its not the best

^ coils down no wheel gap, but only cuz tires are too big, hes getting smaller ones

^ koyo rad, fmic, jdm silvia headlight swap in progress

enjoy he will have it a east coast bash in jersey next saturday if anyones going

Yeah seems kinda pointless to me that he'd spend all that $$$ and fab work on making an evo turbo fit, he could of bought a nice big garrett turbo or something and had the specs custom made.. but looks good I guess.

he wanted to be the first to finish it in the us and run it and also cuz it spools really fast and thats what he was looking for

yeah it might be a babu turbo but the reason he did it was cuz it spools fast, but think what you want cuz the cars suppose to put down 400-500 hp and theres at least 7000 in the motor

When my friend was building up his talon tsi awd he considered the evo turbo but the evo turbo has turbo lag so he just went with a Garrett and that thing is fast

wich garret ur friends use if its any of the ones im thinking of hes wrong an evo turbo has no lag on a dsm as the exxhaust impeller is smaller then the stock 14b or 13b turbo's evo's if i recall use the same as an srt-4 exhuast impeller. with a 16g intake impeller and housing. i could be wrong as its been awhile but i believe im right.

I've seen that same ugly body kit on too many 240's. It doesn't go with the body at all. But the lack of wheel gap is nice.
