Ah I see. That's bogus. Should've showed him the registration...? Or does it not show it on their? I can't remember. lol.measy27 wrote:Yeah I want to be completely stock looking again.. I got tired of the sleeper look and my fiancee got hastled by a state trooper who swore up and down that it wasnt a SRT and it was just a neon with an aftermarket exhaust..
Doing anything crazy to the look after everything's painted? Or just keeping it stock.
I've always liked how clean you've kept the SRT-4
When he ran the plates, he just let her go..2005.Neon.SXT wrote:Ah I see. That's bogus. Should've showed him the registration...? Or does it not show it on their? heat that fuckin bumper up, and bang those dents out of it! Get the rear end fixed, and you'll be good to go!
this car would be a PERFECT swap donor... sorry man, I had to.

I hate to say it but the likely hood is that they will total the car out.
The frame in the rear is most likely bent and the cost of repairs to straighten it would be quite extensive in comparison.
I hope that they don't total it out cause that just is a lose lose situation for you the owner.
Good luck man and I wish you the best in this situation

i had my father quickly look at it today and within seconds he noticed that there is a gap between the rear quarter panel and the rear passenger door. So i believe the frame is definitely tweeked alittle.. it was pooring out so i couldnt get a pic..hansken_yo wrote:I hate to say it but the likely hood is that they will total the car out.

Edit:
not a gap per say. more of an slight overlap. the quarter doesnt sit flush with the door. its sticks out slightly.

Check the gaps between the doors and rear quarters on both sides and see if they are the same. When I got rear ended they where completely different. I could fit my key in one side flat and the other side I couldnt fit a quarter in.
