Went to the Keys and didn't even tell me?! I'm like less than 2 hours from there.

Haha, yeah we passed lots of friends on the way down there so don't feel too left out.

Damn I miss the beaches down there. The pool back up here in CT is only 60 degrees :(.

yeah, engineering doesn't exactly make the college years fly by like they should.

Awesome, man! That looks like a pretty sweet trip. Do you have any prospective jobs lined up? Are you going to take the FE/PE exam?

Congrats Kevin it's been a long time comin! Florida is awesome, I was only there once for a couple hours, but the beaches were ridiculous. So blue and clean. Anyway, looking forward to see what you end up doing with your new education!

The trip was really fun, lots of snorkeling, good food, KEY LIME PIE , and sun!

Fortunately, the company I interned with a few times, Connecticut Light and Power has asked me to come back into their rotational engineering program . The engineers there told me not to take the PE exam because once you have your PE license every document you write becomes a legal document and if you screw up the client can sue you instead of the company. So its a lot of risk for very little reward.

Thats an old bridge that use to be US1. It was built in like 1903 and its only big enough to put 2 cars on it side by side with no breakdown lane. I can't imagine driving on that back in the day.

The new one is just to the north of the old bridge, it's much wider and safer. You can walk up on part of the old bridge that's renovated and get a cool view of the beaches.
