So yesterday I got pulled over by a cop (Sanford, Maine).
I was criticized for my:
-Out dated sticker (I can see that)
-My tinted tails (not sure if I'll get a sticker with those)
-My eyelids (There is no beam interference and Maine law states that a headlight needs to go 200' ahead and 100' to the right and left, which is what mine does)
What should I do?

they got ya on the tails, they can claim it obstructs the light output, and they will win..
the eyelids thats just being a dick, they cant get you for that..
BUT, i would just shut up and pay the ticket, its not worth the hassle sometimes.

I think anything added to the surface of headlight and taillight will get pulled over for some legal issues due to the light power output. Is it a fix-it ticket? If it is then just take off everything that isn't OEM and get the ticket signed off and you are good to go then.

In Virginia, it's illegal to have all of that, nothing can obstruct the light coming from your headlights [eyelids] and you must be able to see red from 25 feet back for taillights [tint].
Sticker, you're on your own. Good luck, and try and keep personal/legal issues off the internet.

Strip the nightshades off and take the vinyl eye lids off to get the ticket dismissed. I'm sure you just pay court fees then.

If it's illegal, then it's illegal and you have to take care of it.

I didn't get a ticket, just a warning.
I don't know, I'll get a sticker tomorrow and see what happens.

^As Frank said, better take care of the illegal stuffs asap. Otherwise, it will be a ticket after the warning. Then it's bad.

If they say it's illegal, not much you can do.
If a cop told me my eyelids were blocking light... lmao.
I'd tell him to pull up beside me and see who's lights are brighter.

Go back to stock and then have it signed off. Then either put them back on, or better yet, leave them stock.

You didn't get a ticket...keep the illegal stuff on and rock it or be prepared to possibly be ticketed later for it. Pretty simple.
