Depends on the understanding of the following thread: viewtopic.php?t=35391
OB's detail instruction of changing springs and struts.
And there's a section in Hayne's manual regards springs swap, be sure to get every tools that is needed especially those special tools described by OB. (wrenches, socket, spring compressor etc...)

Fan Yang, that is a super out-dated pic of my car.

It was just drilled on in that old pic, but now it's been molded. Some prefer just taped on, and other prefer molded to the bumper
Image

Or dtjackten, who has molded a Type R bumper to a 2002 bumper AND made it work with 03+ headlights. This will involve lots of work, as you can imagine.

As far as your engine, post up a current pic of it, and we'll pitch in ideas.

I can't tell the difference in the bumper, but the SRT-4 hood sure is a positive change to your car's looks

lol yeah now the lip is mixed with the bumper, which means they became one piece (molded).

:tardbang: I know what "molded" means, but it didn't make much difference appearance wise (like the money I wasted on the carbon fiber hood scoop for the SRT-4).

Here is a very great and useful thread.

viewtopic.php?t=44368&highlight=engine+bay

You can get an idea of what you want to do from these pictures. Your engine looks bone stock, and I don't really know where to start. I guess get a CAI to start off.

Yup, but you'll only notice the sound from inside the car or standing in front of it, obviously.

:D the sound comes from the filter element ... normally the intake is silenced by the airbox, and resonator ... there may be subtle sound differences between K&N, AEM filters vs. garbage from eBay

If you don't need worry about inspection or CARB just go with the cheap tube and a good filter and that will make the car sounds like V8 lol~
