Whoa calm down there, heard you the first time
Not much to it: pull the old one out, put the new one in, reconnect everything, etc. What questions do you have?

lol sorry my computer had a mind of its own there haha..i dont really have to many questions i just wanna know the diffulictly of it. ive helped friends with there motor swaps but never on an srt and with it being my car i want everything to go right and i dont wanna have to do it more than once if i dont have to. im rebuilding a motor that i bought with a spun bearing and i just dont wanna screw things up lol
I haven't done a swap personally, but from what I'm told they're very easy in these chassis. Which comes as no surprise since these cars cake to work on, pretty much from top to bottom. You can probably do it in a day with help.

If you're in any way worried about your ability to do the internal work, I'd recommend leaving it to a pro. Do it right the first time.
There are a lot of tools that you will need to properly rebuild the engine that you almost certainly won't have lying around the garage. Or have you made arrangements already?

What kind of problems are you worried about? If you can find a decent long block there is no need for a rebuild, but you can always take care of general maintenance like timing belt, water pump, hell even changing your clutch out then is a good idea. The swap takes about a day if you know what you are doing and have a few friends who can help.

Main thing is one step at a time do 3 steps and double check yourself it seems overwhelming but break it down into steps and set mabe 2-3 days aside for any random issuesHarobmx477@aol.com wrote:im not really worried about puttin the motor in as much as im worried about forgetting something when puttin the motor back together or not tightening everything good enough.

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.
