mopar staged wastegat questions

ok so i have a stock srt wastegate for my neon and i am picking up a stage 3 in a week from phx now i know i have to modify the bracket holes on the stage 3 to work with a stock turbo. but what psi does the stage3 open at with out boost hooked up to it. every one i know who has one has it hooked up with the boost. and same goes for the stage 2 waste gate and not sure if there is a stage1 wastegate or not but if any one who has on can help out and with some info maybe this can become a sticky!!!!

No Stage 1 WGA. Yes the Stage 3 WGA will need to be modified the bracket is different. Don't you have to have the WGA hooked up to boost? Or are you confused with it being hooked up to PCM controlled boost? Stage 2 = 8psi spring Stage 3 = 15psi I believe? Not sure on that though.

thanks you no i was looking for spring rates without boost but didnt know how to explain it lol. and stock is a 4 psi spring rate correct. main reason i ask is there are alot of guys that do the turbofold on first gens but wanted a different wastegate option then agp. i knew stage 2's bolted up but didnt know what there rate was with out boost or with and same goes for the stage 3 so if a stage 3 was modified to fit( drilling out the holes to the proper spots) and taping a vac line on the bottom of the wastegete( oposite from the stock vac/boost line, the other side of the diaphram) then with 2 mbc's you could very well use a stage3 wastegate with almost any amount of boost, within its actual limits of course,
