Why do you want to remove it? Your car is slow, and unless you're going turbo it always will be slow. May as well be comfortable.

You dont really need anything except a new belt that will fit without the AC compressor.

If I'm not mistaken you cannot run power steering without AC. I could have that backwards, however.

how do you know my car is slow? have you driven in it?

my friends sxt runs 15's with bolt on's and he isnt underdriven nor does he have the ac deleted.

Hmm I haven't heard that yet. A belt and a new tensioner might be necessary.
Didn't the acr come with no AC option? Has to be possible

I would think so there are states that require power steering.
I dont know. Im about to nix my AC but only because it hasn't worked in the time I've owned the car anyway.
2/55 AC is the way to go

All you have to do is get a non-AC belt from any 2gn neon. I almost bought an 05 with no AC. Then you just delete all the bolted on parts.
Only a 95 neon came without power steering. All the rest of the models came with it.

So many neons so little time.

Must have been rare. It's mainly the 95's that didn't have PS. Most had 4 lug wheels too.

x2... to have a 14/15 second car with no ac is tarded... it doesnt make your car into instant race car.

My point exactly since nobody is bashing. I could if you'd prefer, but I'd rather not get (yet another) vacation.

I've been banned for a week twice I think, and just very recently got off of a 2 week banning. All for telling newbs that they're incredibly dumb for whatever it is they are currently planning.
Why is your stuff all taken apart now? And if it is, why not go with the SRT swap now?

its all apart because i bought the vehicle with a salvage certificate(totaled)
the vehicle has to go through a very thorough inspection before they will give a reconstructed title. if i would do the swap now there is a chance they wont give me the title
and hey i see both ends, i see that your annoyed with newbs dumb comments and ideas but at the same time you dont want to lour them away from a common interest we all share yano? when i was on pittspeed (local forum around me) i told them about myself and all they did was call me a ricer and a faggot. although im not going to go cry about it, it made me mad because i thought local guys would be happy to see somebody else like what they do but this wasnt the case

So you have to rebuild it so you can tear it apart and rebuild it? That's pretty damn retarded, IMHO. If you're not doing something to make the car illegal it should still pass I would think.

ya its a very stupid rule but i cant argue with it. as far as the swap goes, im looking for one now and its going to sit here until i can put it in. what i plan on doing though is get it back together and get it inspected. once it gets inspected and i get the title the fenders, hood, and bumper will be taken off and sent to paint and while thats happening the swap will be happening too
