The car is a 2008 Sunbust Orange Dodge Caliber SRT4 with every option except option group II. I bought the car as a leftover in 2009 for 9 grand under the sticker price, deal of a lifetime! Since then I have modified the car in many ways to convert my Caliber into my dream car. First off is the interior, I have retrofitted a 2009 series MyGiG RER from a 2009 Chrysler 300 into the Caliber, and have working U-Connect Phone. Also, I have added a 450 watt inverter in the center console. My exterior modifications consist of a custom Cuda style side stripe, 255/45/18 Nitto Invos Tires on TSW Vortex 18"x8"x35mm offset wheels, and the Dodge removable roof-rack. The drive train has been modified the most, so Ill just list the mods: RealTune Stage1 (AEM F/IC tuned by Aaron@Realtune), South Bend Clutch Stage 1 Clutch, RealTune High Boost Kit (with custom 4 stage boost controller), Progress Rear Swaybar, RealTune Ported and Ceramic Coated Turbohousing and Exaust Manifod, ModernPerformance Catted DP, Street motor mount inserts, AGP Wastegate actuator, JMB front mount intercooler, JMB 4" intake, JMB billet fuel rail and braided fuel line, JMB lightweight battery kit (using Braille 15lb race battery), Fuel Injector Clinic 635cc injectors, AEM Wideband 02 gauge, Mopar Pyrometer, Aeroforce Scanguage, Autometer Mechanical boost gauge, Bwoody check valve, Bwoody traction bars, AGP oil catchcan, Mopar Stage 1 Powertrain Control Module, Mopar strutbar, ND Performance Traction Control System with Electronic Slick (WOT) Shift and 2Step, and NGK Iridium one step colder plugs. When I go to the 1/4 mile track I use Mickey Thompson 305/35/18 drag radials on Mustang 18"x10"x22mm offset wheels, using these tires my best 1/4 mile to date is 13.529@104.41mph with a 2.068 60ft. The current dynomometer numbers for the car are 330 Wheel Horse Power and 351 Wheel Lb/Ft of Torque, these number are low because the stock muffler is still on the car. Future plans for the car include a built motor, RealTune Stage 2R turbo, new exhaust, coil overs, and much more. Even after all these mods I can still get 30mpg on the highway or take my 2 Kayaks out.
On a different note my father restored a 69 Barracuda convertible (360 crate motor + 100 shot NOS = 12.8 1/4). I have grown up around Mopar my whole life and appreciate both old and new Mopars. I am from northern NJ, so if anyone is from the area let me know.
Here are some pics:
Apparently my pictures don't work, if anyone/mod can offer help that would be great
