Tein SS Coilover's

Have some questions about how to achive better handling and stopping power using different springs, upgrading to coilovers, questions on swaybars, bushings, different rotors, pads, ect... Having any steering problems or questions about steering racks, tie rods, tie rod ends, ect... ask these questions here.

I have the basics, which are the same except no damper adjustment and no pillowball/camber plates, and i love mine.

Based on the price differential it would be better to get Megans or BCs.

i have the tein ss's without the pillowball or the edfc. no complaints so far other than i think the spring rate is not right for the car cause its kinda bouncy, more than it should be imo.

I had the same complaint, which is why I switched to BC's. Lowering the car on the basic Tien's is done by lowering the spring perch, doing this changes the spring rate. The lower you put the car, the bouncier it becomes. If I'm wrong, please correct me as that's how the issue was explained to me...

yea its the same on the tein ss's, but if you had the pillowball mounts it apparently fixes the problem because you gain suspension travel from using them. when i go to replace these i'll get something different, and make damn sure i get the ones with the upper mounts this time around.
