Cruise control stalk.

So, I think I went a little too Hulk-style on the cruise control stalk the other day with my '04.

I pulled the stalk back to cancel cruise and I heard/felt a snap. It seems like it came from the base where the stalk meets the steering wheel. The stalk still moves back and forth but CC no longer activates.

Anyone else ever experience this? Just trying to determine what all I need to replace to get cruise control functioning again. I miss CC during my commutes!

I never pull it to cancel, I just push the button. Or brake.

That does suck though... shouldn't have brought out the green in you.

i have one in my 04. and i don't have cruise. since i'm swapped. lemme know if you need it

EDIT: Anyone removed the CC stalk before? Too be honest, I haven't really looked into it all that much yet since I don't have any sort of replacement. I might have to do so just to see what's broke, I guess.

It's pretty simple. It just "pops" in IIRC once you pop the wheel / bag off.

The stalk is only $36 from the dealer.
