im quite computer apt but this POS has got me stumped. to ensure that no one else gets ill take screen shots.... i get this anytime i get forwarded to another site...

it adds "anonynym.to" before every url. for example it reads "http://www.anonym.to/?http://www.gtechpro.com/"

i checked and its not a program thats been installed, otherwise i wouldve deleted it. i already cleared web setting, temp int files, and cookies and it still appears... anyone?

Well, it's definitely not a virus BUT it's probably a spyware prog. I've only noticed it lately AND the first time I did notice it was when I was forwarded somewhere from this site.

But here's a quote from their website (http://anonym.to/)

English version: to make a long story short: anonym.to is a free and easy way to block the referrer when a visitor clicks a link on your homepage. It works with every browser as you do only have to add a http://anonym.to/? in front of every outgoing http:// link. Use it as you want.

I'm gonna have to get to the bottom of this

I think it has something to do with the new sever 2GN is on. At least that is when it started hapening for me.

this has been happening all week for me...
Its not spyware or a virus, its got to be something with the server programming redirecting links. Im just wondering if its a security type of program that way no one gets redirected to spam or porn.

That's probably most true. I ran all the checks last night and nothing (well, not this at least), came up. It's probably a preventive measure that is only associated with this server.

It's normal... I put it onto the site so when you're directed to another site or forum they can't see where you're coming from if they look at their refeering address. Just ignore it.

I'm still learning German. Maybe I'll translate it so you can see what I meant when I said That site (anonym.to) is more useful in German.
