 Welcome to the forum.

Actually if you have a 2005 Dodge Neon SXT, with only 31 K miles on it, there are endless possibilities for mods. I'd recommend that you look over all the cars in the "Picture Post" section,
to find what appeals most to you.

Since it's SXT already it cannot be SE version in this case... so is that the one with chrome snowflakes? I remember seen that before.

Also known as a Piece-o-Shit, this car has to be the worst car ever made. Although it may look cool and have a great name, this car has many defects. Everything from gaping holes in the back floor panel, to missing interior, from failing clutches, to having the clear coat applied before the paint, this car takes the cake as the worlds worst idea of a car.

Nope. Fuzzy had a Special Edition. It has the Livin' Loud surround system w/ sub like some SRTs do.

The 'Special Edition' neons would need a Fuzzy response. Since his old 2gn was branded that way. I think he had the full kicker package w/ sub. Not really sure.

Oh... and Welcome to the boards!

Ummmm, yeah, we already went over that.

There are two schools of thought on this.

1) A Cherry Bomb will sound like ass.
2) It will sound good.

Those of us who are right and say it will sound like ass have suggested an R/T rear section that you can get used for cheap and it will sound good.

We've also suggested other mufflers that would sound good. The best thing is to look for audio clips of exhaust systems on Neons. Youtube will probably be a good source for this search.

Ultimately, it depends on what sounds "good" to you. If you like the ricer sound (loud raspy with pops and other crap that sounds like you can't afford an exhaust) then go with the cherry bomb. If you like something more refined that sounds like you're not a dumb ricer, go with the R/T rear.

Either way, it's all about sound, neither will give you more than maybe 1 HP gain if that.

he 2005 Dodge Neon offers compact car customers style, value and fun-to- drive performance. The new Special Edition package includes air conditioning, AM/FM stereo with CD player and six speakers, remote keyless entry, power trunk lid release and 15-inch all-season touring tires with aluminum wheels. Additional features include chrome wheels at no charge ($700 value), the Kicker SRT-4 audio system, a six-disc CD changer, and four exterior paint options. The MSRP for the Dodge Neon Special Edition is $16,475, which includes $545 for destination.
