See the piece of wood behind you in the second pix, should have picked it up and beat the forklift driver before he took your car... rookie.

why? cause i had some problems with my brakes and we had to check that.
That forklift is very strong and my cousin knows what he does.
In the end it is the same like a regular car lift...

So awesome!!! Ha ha. At the junkyard near me that's how they move the cars around, by forklifts and huge tractors with forklift extensions on the end.

Wow!

Thats one big ass forklift. Who needs a lift when you got a forklift like that!? It would just have a little less space on the pass. side
Cousin related to this guy?

Only problem I see is no blocks under the forks. They do fail occasionally....
Other than that
We have picked up the other (smaller) lift trucks at work to move them when broke down.
Edit: The bottom pic has the theme of a VW commercial.

<--- used to drive a forklift. they're pretty goddamn sturdy
only reason i wouldn't do this is because of the pinch welds folding. i wouldn't trust the wood either

i have driven lifts for ten years, and i am also certified on many other forms of lifts and booms, having worked in mantinence i will say quite honestly that altho the lift maybe capibal of lifting the car, i have seen more than a couple blown hydralic lines and near death accedents with these machines, and would never stand or work underneath one

If the underside is supported on the "frame rails", there is no worry for the pinch welds. That is where most shops will put the lift pads, so it isn't like you are going to damage anything. I assume that's why the wood was there to space up the pinch welds. There is no way the weight of a neon will crush the wood lying flat like that. Like I said, and theTeejmiester emphasized, I would have stood up some pipe under the forks tho.
If you want to see something a little hairy, (besides above pic) they pick up a forklift by the mast to weight test our crane. It is a bit unnerving to see a lift truck dangling in the air. Just knowing the hole it will punch in the floor if the cable snaps.
