Miss My Neon

Hey guys, i recently started lurking back on this board about a month ago. I used to own a 04 sxt. I bought an 09 wrx about a year ago. The other day i was driving and saw a stock silver dodge neon, and it got me thinking about my old baby. I missed my srt-4 wing, loud exhaust, short throw shifter etc. I almost want to trade my rex in for a neon again. I learned more about engines ripping that car apart than i did with the past cars i owned. I also have all my old parts in my dads garage, either waiting to be sold or put back on a car...hmm wonder if i can find a cheap r/t somewhere...anyways, im sure ill be posting here and there. I see this board never died even after the car isn't in production anymore...that's amazing.

Not surprising. You never get over Neons. Why not give in and get another one?

shit ive had my car 7yrs now and am debating on gettin a diff car, but cant bring myself to do it.... almost wanna keep it, and buy another one lol 5spd this time.... as cheap as they are having 2 cars would be cheaper than having a newer car lol

Neon parts are cheap. But the aftermarket isn't as big as other cars like Mustangs, Evos, Hondas, etc.

I'd keep the t-rex, and buy a neon as a daily.

You know... I've toyed around with getting a new car and kicking my neon to the curb.. but deep inside even the thought of giving up my bumble bee kills me.. if I ever get rid of her and she still runs and is drivable... I will never forgive myself (unless it's for a yellow SRT.. then it would be diff)

same im always shoppin for an srt4... nothing i found worth buyin lately tho.. if i had a shitton of miles on my car it would be easier to part with, but i havent hit 70k yet in my 01, so it would be stupid to switch atm..

Somewhat true. I keep moving forward and aim to better my life with each and everything I do. If I've upgraded to something better, why would I long to regress to something that is completely worse.
