double the amount of tranny fluid.
jus recently noticed my neon has double the amount of transmission fluid in it and i have actually noticed couple times hard shifting for my car. which by the way only has 65,000 miles. somebody told me that i can blow seems in my tranny and that it would be expensive to fix. im jus wondering if theres a way to flush it out mayb and add new?

Either drop the pan, and refill, or get one of those suction tubes, and pull it out the fill tube.

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.

To properly check the fluid in an automatic, according to Dodge:
The transmission needs to be at operating temperature. Go drive around for at least about 15 miles. Then, park the car on level ground. Let the engine/trans idle for a minimum of 60 seconds while parked on the level surface. Apply the parking brake (just in case). Place the transmission in each gear momentarily, ending in Park (start in 1st, then 2nd and so on). Remove the dipstick, wipe clean, fully reinsert it, remove and check the level.
At 65,000 miles, have you changed the filter and fluid (not flushed, changed)?

I highly doubt you have about 14qts in the trans. You probably only have about a quart or so too much.
