ok so i put a dohc head on. i bought a 420a manifold off ebay bolted it on with a t3/t4 turbo but now my alternator is in the way? can i relocate it it? or has any one else ran into this problem?

The 420a is not the same motor as the D4RE. They happen to have the same bolt pattern reversed, however. Therein lies your problem.
ASP - First NGC SOHC in the 13s and the 12s. First SOHC neon over 500whp. First NGC Neon on MS.

i might try an adaptor from t3 to t3 to push it towards the firewall a little away from the alternator.

Use a 2.4 alternator bracket to move the alt to the front side of the motor?

What about selling that one and getting a srt4 manifold?

just to say the stratus 2.0 or 2.4 front mount brackets can eaisly fit the neon platform quite well as i did on my 2.4 swap. just sayin.
00 neon gonna be fast one day with a atx.

00 neon mtx ghetto blaster s.t.h. s.t.s. cut springs lol. kybs. c.a.i. inserts 12cam udp 1gn 355.
