srt 4 viper inspired seat brackets?

Post by Addicted2Boost » Mon Aug 16, 2010 6:31 am

I scored some srt 4 viper inspired seats for free the only problem with them is the brackets have been modified and no longer just bolt right in. Is there anywhere I can get new brackets? The sxt seat brackets do not fit nor do the SRS seat brackets.

I've been looking for the same answer for the longest time. My buddy has a set of Viper Bucket seats, with no brackets. But I'm not gonna buy them from him till I can find a place to order brackets.

Let me know what solution you go with :)

Contact a local chassis fab shop and have them fit them to the car. Easy and may cost less than sourcing them from the dealer if they are available.

Any non-SRT seat brackets will NOT bolt onto the SRT-4 Viper seats. This has been researched, and it also has been tried twice by me. Viper Inspired seat brackets will bolt onto SRT-4 seats, but not onto SXT or R/T seats (well, I'm not sure about the leather ones). And vice versa. I remember I spent a good hour trying to shimmy my SXT brackets onto my buddy's Viper Inspired seats. But to no avail... so they still sit in his shop, waiting to be yanked up.

Just wanted to clarify that up.

As far as dealership pricing, I called them up once. Apparently there are two pieces per seat. So 4 total pieces. And they run about $100+ per piece. Can't remember exactly.

Then just spend a little extra and get aftermarket seat brackets. Even if they don't bolt right on / in, I'm sure very little fab would be needed to get them right.
