I was wondering how bad the light scatter is when using the stock 04 headlights? I want to get 8k lights and use them with my stock headlights. I hear they scatter the light, but I don't really know how bad it is.

scatter?
The question is: you wanna have just a cheap xenon kit in your headlights or real xenon with lenses?
1st = big shit, 2nd = the only real way for xenon!

VVME kits are good from what I've heard, I remember LSP recommending them back on the SRTForums

So are you saying that there is no issue putting them into a stock headlight housing?

There's no issue, but they're blinding as fuck. And will piss everyone off. So you'll probably get some lowlife in a beater who you just piss off so much that he rams into the front of your car.
Yea, there's no issue man.

I rock VVME in my black housing headlights.
Retrofit > Plug and Play no doubt but I can't afford retros.

Ya, I'm not gonna lie.. I rocked VVME's in my black housings when I had an '03+ front end rofl. But I also had eyelids... it seemed to knock the glare down a bit. I never got flashed. Or rammed into

i have vvme kit with projectors, please get projectors or retro's if ur gunna go with hid's. hid's in stock housing (non-projectors) cant aim them and thats why cops pull people over cause technically its illegal. has to come from the factory with hid's. thats my 2 cents

I've got like 8000K or some random fugly blue in mines, and I rarely get flashed at. Only by tall-ass trucks like semis n shiznit. Oh wait! I aimed mine down so I get optimal output (I know I know, scatter in OE housings) and the glare is not at the level of most other vehicles.

If they appear to blind the opposite car, just lower the beam down a little bit and you will be fine. I never have anyone horn or flash at me either.

They are fine. Plug them in and drive. Other people flashing their lights just means that THEY need new headlights because clearly theirs are shorting out.
