I am wanting to get my harnesses mounted. I did a back seat delete so there is no worries about the harnesses getting in the way. The belts I would like to use every once in a while. And I will not be autocrossing or racing the car so no worries there. It is more of a show thing and every once in a while use thing. But I would still like them to be safe.
So my question is. Is the rear deck strong enough to mount them to? A harness bar isn't really in the question as it takes up too much room and quite frankly I don't wanna spend 500 on one.
Where else would you guys recommend mounting them without a harness bar if the back deck isn't strong enough. I will have a custom back deck cover made so If it comes down to it I can have a bar or something welded back there to make it stronger.
