minus 1 SRT in Germany!

Post by Jenni » Tue Sep 21, 2010 10:23 am

no guys, not mine!

the "yellow beast" is dead.
i think not many of you will know this car or this guy.
he was not very often in the forums.
it was a yellow srt with lazy boy seats and (afaik) stage 3.

and now it looks like:

http://www.lohmar.info/nachricht_lohmar ... 68618.html

Owner lives where my daughter lives - but i never meet him in person.

Long story short:
he was drunk (0.7 promille) and kicked the gas in the city - lost control, kicked a tree, flipped over.
what good no one is badly injured.
i am not sure if his insurance will pay - but he will get in big trouble with the police!

here we say: learning by pain!

hmmm - the wreck looks like it is not usefull anymore...

Drunk people usually survive the craziest accidents. It's the sober family they crash into that ends up suffering. =/

I lost an uncle to a drunk driver.... I have no pity on drinking and driving.

That's terrible! SRTs seem to be destroyed left and right lately. So sad.

he was not alone in the car.
driver (30), passenger (20) and 2 young women in the back seats.
none of them was badly injured.

to bad it was 3 month ago and we just found it out now - so i guess there is no chance to part the wreck out. stage 3.......

google translations....

To english :
Today's 10th July to remember four young people from Lohmar in their lifetime no longer likely. For the night she survived - Hoffe after initial assessments with no major injuries - a spectacular traffic accident in the local situation. About 1.00 clock local residents heard a Bonner Road (K 34) in the direction Overath moving car, the beginning of the elongated right-hander that leads up to the restaurant on the hill fast, strong. Shortly afterwards a heavy blow could be heard. The first responders and rescue teams advancing initially offered a frightening picture. A heavily battered sports car was upside down on the roadside, many debris were scattered in a wide context.

The four occupants of Lohmar, the 30-year-old driver, his 20-year-old co-driver and two young women in the rear of the car, could rise from the car with probably only minor injuries. The track position was clear - about one hundred yards from the site, the cart had been taken from the curve, plowed through the banquet and flat bushes at the roadside ditch, struck at about 50 meters to the left front fender against a small tree and rolled over at last. The front wheel had been torn out during impact against the tree, including suspension.

While the injured were examined by an emergency physician associated with several ambulances to hospitals for outpatient treatment to Siegburg and Troisdorf, lit fire women and men from the fire brigade Wahlscheid the road for the accident by the police from recording. The accident did not have long to search: far excessive speed in urban areas and an alcohol of the driver (Alcotest 0.7 per thousand). The 200-hp, but only 1,300-pound sports car of type 'Dodge Neon SRT-4' with the addition of "Barracuda" had been transformed in the accident in a far less aggressive fish, it looked like before turning more like a flounder. 1300kb = 2860lbs, so they had it right :).

At least no one was hurt, hopefully he learned his lesson.
