Feedback:

Some of you have seen the car on the progress log but to those that haven't here are the pics.

*cracked windshield have an apoitnment on tuesday to get new one put in.
*typical third gear grind.
*needs to be painted (has key marks and some little dents)

Its 95% stock only modification is a 3" catless exhaust and a magnaflow straight through muffler. I have the dual exit rear section still with twin 3" tips that i will include with the sale.

And the link to the progress log to see what maintenance has been done. One thing that's not in that thread is that we put a new gratenelli coil pack on it.

And just in case your too lazy to look through the thread here is a list of repairs we have done to it sense we got it.

Some of you may remember that we where having some issues with the car, well all issues have been fixed. I haved cleand up and deleted a lot fo the info that was posted that is no longer needed or relavent

-Changed the oil.
-Changed the Coolant.
-New thermostat.
-New Radiator Cap
-Changed the spark plugs.
-replaced plug wires with gratenelli wires from modern
-changed Coil pack with a Gratenelli one.
-changed timing belt, water pump and tensioner
-Changed the head gasket (head has been re-surfaced and valves checked for any leaks)
-Swapped out the crappy air filter it had for a K&N.
-filled the upper motor mount with polyurethane. (have spare bottom one to fill as well)
-Swapped out the stock tweeters for some TBI Tweeters. http://www.tbisound.com/dsp_products_auto_tweet1.asp
-swapped in a cheap pioneer radio (The stock radio was possessed and randomly starts playing a CD and sounds all distorted an messed up.)
-has some kind of crap on the trunk and bumper that ate the clear coat on the bumper and is being a pain in the butt getting off the trunk.
-Is missing a fog light cover, and a screw from the third brake light.
-grabbed a spare 16" steel wheel to use as a spare tire and a spare scissor jack i had.

Reason for sale is we have been given a deal on a house we couldn't pass up and Tami decided she wants a house more then a toy.

I hate selling it i had forgotten how much fun these are. There is something about how just plain raw and fast these are. Going from my audi to this car is like night and day. My Audi is all about comfort and luxury and this is all about going fast.

I forgot to add that the turbo was replaced 10K ago. And it shows it because it has zero shaft play.

lol, i did it in the first place, figured out that its the timing belt tensioner that's causing the issue this next weekend going to tear into it and fix it. Just don't have the time right now.

Thats a good idea, i need to finish fixing it I think the fact that it needs a few small things is whats keeping people away. might try and do that this weekend.

Well, the finance people have told us to not sell the car tell we close the deal on the house. Looks like we are going to be hanging onto it for a little while However i might be willing to entertain a deposit to hold it if someone wants it and knows they will have the money down the road.

OK, as of today the cars run like a top. no smoking no overheating, no leaks of anykind. The only two issue sthis car has is its got the typical third gear grind and the paint is in need of re-doing. Looks decent but i kept the price down for that reason. If any of you remember the issues i was having all issues have been worked out and fixed and again car runs awesome.

I still can't believe this car has not sold yet. For how hard it was to find this car in the first place i can't believe no one wants it.
