Hahaha waiting on gasket set from agp and exh manifold stud kit from modern.

Got the manifold and the hot side intercooler pipe cleaned up today. Sandblasted them both and sprayed them with high heat black. Also welded the agp heat shield that is known to crack and getting it ready to paint.

Shitty picture of it painted.

Got my gasket set today, but the stud kit won't be here until Monday :( Was hoping to have it back together this weekend. Oh well. I still have to cut the last working stud off of the o2 housing, grind/drill the broken ones out, and weld 4 new bolts to it. Bolts welded on make is so much easier to bolt up. Also have to paint the heat shield.

Plus, the dam gasket set didn't come with a gasket for the oil feed side, only one for the return line. And you can't order just the feed from agp because it's not enough to ship. Like wtf... Looks like I'll be making my own.

Going to make a factory crash bar fit by cutting and welding braces to it.

Trans is out. New clutch fork is in. Old clutch fork was shot. These transmissions suck to drop. Putting it in should be more fun.
Working on rewiring the engine harness because it was spliced into alot to wire the DTec tuner which I'm removing because it's no longer used and the wires are a mess.
Factory crash bar cut, cut, cut some more and support welded in. Almost done. Have a little more cutting to do.

Hope to have the trans back in, Dtec out, and intercooler and crash bar on by sunday night.

Wow....that wiring harness looks like it's going to be a blast to fix. Can't help with the SBC clutch question, but I would imagine there would be some markings on it that would help you decipher it through a quick email to SBC.

No Ryan. I was going to, but had nothing else that I needed from Modern so wasn't going to order just that. And the dealer had it on special backorder and would take a week or two.

Yea I'm going to email SBC and see what they tell me. The top of the clutch says sahcs on it. Do they take sahcs clutches and just redo them?

Forgot to also add that my ABS bracket was missing a bolt and not bolted to the driver side frame rail. The transmission mount only had 2 bolts holding it to the transmission instead of three. Some of the transmission bolts holding it to the block were barely tighter then finger tight.

Getting code P0068 only when cruising on highway. Could be ptb related, but I'm not sure that I'm in boost every time it happens. Mainly seems to happen when I'm driving at a steady throttle percentage.

TPS and IAC have both be rewired. Map has been extended to run 3 bar map sensor. Going to take a look at it's wiring tonight, but running out of ideas on what it could be. When the check engine light comes on it puts the car in retard mode and runs at 11-12 afr constantly.

That's exactly what you need to do. Run the red line to the coldside or any boost only line (had mine on the green line for awhile but it still blew the code it likes the cold side pipe best) and hook up the TIP sensor and it will stop.

Yea TIP sensor is hooked up correctly. Red hose is just plugged off. I hardly drive it any long distance that I never bothered to fix it, but for the 3 hour carlisle drive I need to have it fixed for sure.

T-ing into the wastegate line fixed the problem it seems.

No boost leaks and no CEL's the whole way to or back from carlisle.
And got some new t-bolt clamps to replace my stripped ones from hul kogan at carlisle.

Now to get my low end miss at around 2000rpms when cruising (Fuel cut, goes to about 19 afr for a split second).

And then get my extreme rich condition under 4k fixed. Wideband is showing a peak of 9.8 rich.

Matt attempted to help me, but my rescale was locked by TDS :(. Understandable though.

Still can't figure out why I have a miss/stumble/lean condition down bottom. Nigel from tds quit e-mailing me back, so I'm not sure if its related to his rescale or not.

But for now, I have a bigger problem... Oops lol.
