This car has been my sister's for the last 4 years. Cosmetically, it's nicer than anything out there. Mechanically, it's in good shape, but it burns oil. Starts, runs and drives great....just need to keep oil in it. It's been her daily driver year round with no issues.

-159K miles
-2.0L SOHC, no mods
-Automatic Transmission
-Patriot Blue
-ES trim: power everything
-R/T Springs and Struts
-Silverstone Alloy wheels

Asking $2700 OBO. Nicest condition 2000 you'll find anywhere.

Update:

We have a timing belt, water pump, tensioner, MFS, and all new top end seals on order. We'll be pulling the head, replacing all the intake valve seals, new HG, new cam seals. New water pump, t-belt as well. We're also replacing the MFS with a new one, since the fog light switch currently doesn't work.

We plan to do this work within the next 2 weeks. We're going to ask $2900 for the car locally, but I'm leaving it at $2700 on here. We wanted to the car to be absolutely 100% before we sold it, we don't like selling stuff that's anything less.

Yes, we will require money for the car. I thought about taking Trident Layers.....

To add to the list, the car is also getting:

-New radiator, thermostat and hoses
-New piston rings
-Bores honed
-New rod bearings

Rings and bearings are pretty cheap, so we figured why not do everything while we're right there and make this thing good for another 150K-200K miles. Maybe this can be the first 2gn to hit 300K miles on the original engine.

Yeah, it would be pretty perfect for that kind of duty at this point.

If you're interested in it for a winter car, we'd throw the other set of wheels with the winter tires in for just a couple hundred more. Or, just put the winter set on the car and we'd keep the other set and sell them instead.

That is a very nice car. Unfortunately, the funds just aren't there or I would be driving it tomorrow. Good luck with the sale as someone will be getting a very nice dd.

Great. It had a full service done at the Chrysler dealership around 120K I believe. They adjusted the bands, changed fluid, etc. It shifts great and runs quiet.

So has all the work been done yet that was posted above? Receipts with dates be provided. Very interested at this point. :)

Brakes / fuel pump fairly new?

On another note, Modified by KC is hosting their dyno days Oct 30th and 31st. :) You should come out.

I just started tearing it down this afternoon. All the parts are on the workbench, just a matter of time before it's all done. I snapped some pics of everything too...I'll post them up.

Brakes aren't brand new, but they're good for a long time still. Quiet and smooth.

Fuel pump is original. Zero issues...so it hasn't been touched. I'm pretty sure I have an extra stock fuel pump laying around though (the one from the yellow car)...and it can go with the car if you want a spare.

Yeah, I wouldn't have a car to dyno, but it would be cool to see everyone. The yellow car is mid tear-down for replacing the clutch....not much time gets devoted to it. Dad and I are both too busy.

I'm already just over half way there and still have even the original timing belt and water pump. Motor has never been cracked open yet...will soon to have the valve cover changed for a red one...but motor is still strong...(fingers are now crossed)

But that is a nice clean car...wish It was up here in Canada...
