I think before generalizations on cost and parts can be made, you need to decide upon your power goals.

power goals are nothing special. Want around the stock SRT power, which is what, 235? I want around 212-225. Just want faster than a 16.7 second car.lol

ur fine with stock engine and trans. start buyin parts then. I suggest MS2 which is about 500 bucks. Tunes gonna be about 200. I wish I had some parts for you...oh wait I do, Adaptor plates. 370 son, just got the first one out so production speed is gonna increase a ton now.
