I'm looking at a cam for a small block mopar the guy dont have a micrometer to tell me what size it is, but the number engraed on the cam is 329Z001 I can't find any specs on this can someone help me? Its a mopar performance purple shaft cam.

I know jegs sels mopar purple camshafts but that p# doesnt seem to match anything

Yep. without the "P" number, it could be anything. The advertised lift will get you close to the lobe lift, if you divide it by 1.5, but if the guy can't/won't measure that, it is anyone's guess. And you would have to hope they know how to measure the lobe lift properly too. But for the current price, screw it. If you can put it on some "V" blocks and degree it to be sure of what it is. You could sell it for a nice profit, if it isn't what you need.

Thats my thinking, i bid on it first hopfully i can get it cheap enough to not worry about what it is. but even if its the muscle car replacement it would still have more duration and lift than my truck has now. I really hope it turns out to be P4452992 it would work best for a motor I'm getting ready to put together for a customers dart. I'd make good money on that.

I got the cam, measured it, and its P4452757 211*int/218*exh duration @0.050" and 273" int/283" exh lift at cam
