Angry Yellow Turtle

Post by Knight » Sat Oct 09, 2010 11:17 am

Finally decided to make one of these as Liz has been pushing me too lol.

Plans:

Engine:

-Install Meth Kit (finally lol)
-Crank it up to 26-27 psi with a new tune (on 18psi currently)

Exterior:

-Clean up of the engine bay (scrub the soot off the firewall lol)
-Small wire tucks to on certain areas
-Try to tuck /possibly buy a eagle vaccum port to clean up my hoses
-Sanding some things down and getting painted Gloss black to match the rest of my parts (thermostat housing/motor mount by timing cover/etc)
-Making my own battery box (since no one makes one)
-Doing some Carbon Wrap in the Engine Bay
-PVO Carbon Truck with spoiler

Interior

-Carbon Wrapping a lot of interior pieces ( nothing too crazy, I want to maintain a clean look!)
-Custom Shift Knob
-ACR Harness Slots/Harness Bar/Belts
- I would like to get something Custom Sticked Into the Top of the Seats, but dont know what yet.

Its all going to be about bang for the buck this year lol. I will have get some pics of everything as the way it sits now :quotes:

Damn you got a ton of sponsors! :)
That is my fav. CF hood. No roof shingle air vents. Just a nice lcean hood with a bigger bulge which is needed ont hese cars that run pretty hot.

A preivew of the stripe someone did for me on srt forums. I think the stripes needs to be more on a slant and the stripes are a little thicker but that is the general jist of what I was looking for. Any opinions? I want to mantain a clean look, but give it some more personality

I think it takes away from the clean look too much

kinda like the stripes but i agree on them needing to be thicker and at more of a slant.

Would the stripping down just be to have some cash as a down payment for the charger?

I mean your neons already badass and working correctly (just assuming) so why change it?

Either way i hope you get the charger, we have locals running 12s i believe on boltons.

No. All the stripping will go to paying off the rest of the loan on the srt. I already have a Car CLub memeber who is taking all of my performance parts and giving me stock/aftermarket stock plus cash. I will be getting rid of my jacked up 96 cherokee and DDing the SRT 4. Just sick of having a nice car that I never drive so going this route makes it more practical as the SRT 4 gets great mpg's. (jeep gets about 10 on 33's lol).

PLUS I have always wanted a mopar muscle car, and this gives me a chance to get one from my generation. Old school is sweet and all but that wasnt my era :sorry gramps lol:.

Yes SRT's owners and getting around the 12.8 range stock with some drs so there is a LOT of potetional with a big health cam :D.

Also the SRT 4 will not be TOTALLY stock. Should still be a mid 12 car with some nice style to it.

 There are members of BEMA (my car club) who own both. Modern Muscle Cars are different animals. You need to appreciate the Dodge Charger SRT-8's heritage.
The old cars are worth more money, even if they're not fuel efficient.
