^Yup, they will work just fine, I wouldn't use the 1st gen lowering springs though. you will be too low for your struts to handle

It's gonna be low... most people that use 1gn springs use R/T or ACR springs. They give a nice drop and wont give you a saggy ass. look up 2003silverneonsxt car. He was lowered on stock 1gn non ACR springs.

I used 1gn skunk2 springs even though they listed for 95-02 [weird I know] on my 00. It was pretty fucking low. lolz.

if you do go with 1gn springs i also recommend you use either r/t acr springs or high rates. the base 1gn springs are too soft if you ask me for a 2gn.

that's what i'm hearing because with the stock springs you still have factory spring rate so more likely to bottom out i'm gonna throw em on the car for a couple months while i save up for some tein s techs

ah hells yeah. thats so freaking nice, and thats with first gen eibachs so the megans should be a pretty stiff and solid ride. the only problem I might have is the 17in srt wheels fitting into the wells on sxt struts

Just for the record I was only saying it would work, I never said it was a good idea.

This generally doesn't happen without a expensive set of coilover or a absurd amount of custom work IMHO but then again we all have different ideas of what a good ride quality is :laughing3:

well good ride quality to me is rolling without any noises or rubbing. I know thats simple minded but damn that car looks too good. And Id be good because i tend to stay away from crappy roads especially after I broke my mount bolt on a damn pot hole

For the sake of your... everything, just get some Megan 2gn springs and start saving for coilovers.
