70K Checkup?

Post by acast2003 » Fri Oct 15, 2010 2:58 pm

Okay, I am at 68900 miles. I was wondering what types of checking/replacements i should look into for my 2003 sxt. Already got a new radiator with all new hoses. (talked about that in a previous thread)

Had battery checked, and it is still fine, also the alternator was checked and it was fine.

Has new tires also.

Tune up parts, if it has never been done. Clean TB/IAC, Mopar combustion chamber cleaner/Seafoam.

If everything is up to date, then there is nothing unusual to be done.

Concerning timing belt and wp, I also recommend doing that at 100k. However: I've seen several 2000-2002 neons go 175K miles and never have the timing belt or water pump done. Obviously there is risk involved...but they do last that long.
