Your car looks much better with this wheel/tire combo.

Gramps: it was freezing...the wind was intense but it was an awesome day.

Kyle: What is going on in the 1gn's engine bay? I couldn't figure out what the black box was or the thing (looks like a PCM?) on the driver's side apron. Thanks for the compliments I like it much better too :) just need to install my rear spacers/extended studs to make the rear wheels sit flush.

PCM is the silver thing on the right, the black box right next to it is the pdc. It usually clips on to the back of the battery box but since he relocated his battery it can't now. Fattirebicycles makes a mount to mount it but I'm guessing he didn't get it.

He needs to spend some more time cleaning under the hood.

Car looks awesome Crystal  +1 for loving the wheel/tire combo as well.

The randomly colored front lip on those 2 srt's look disgusting. Sucha clash or colors, ruins the whole car IMO.

Kyle: I thought it looked weird, makes a bit more sense now. We figured out the PCM but not the random PDC. The exterior of the car was clean as hell though.

n20: Thanks! :) I'm super glad I opted to go with them.

Thane:  Sorry about that ha ha. The piece on the black SRT is a vortex generator by CBD: http://www.carbonbydesign.com/proddetai ... rt4_vortex

That 1GN = Drool!

I never notice that your tires had OWL on them Cam... I like that it goes with your muscle car theme, but I am torn about how I feel about them...

Smiley: Yeah it is, there's lots of that here in RI but there's only one chance a year to be able to drive down that way and get on that pier. I have a lot of pictures by the water, but none like these. :)

Thane: You're welcome :)

J-kIng: Thank you and yes it was :)

Radar: Thanks :) Yes it is, it's historic Fort Adams in Newport, RI. It was utilized from 1824-1950 as a base :)

Kingdomstar: We're still working on tuning the car, it's finally drivable at WOT without spiking 38lbs of boost and getting severe ignition break up. I have another tune to go with and if it doesn't rain in the next couple of days that's what I'll be attempting to do. :) And Canada is referring to the white lettering on my tires.

Chris: Ha ha it was a clean little creature! I did the RWLs back in June or July I think. They looked weird being all black....here's a picture for comparison (this was also prior to me re-doing my retros):
Image

Alex: Thank you! It's impossible to find them you need to whiten them yourself with a tire marker. It's a pain in the butt though and requires it to be redone every other time I take the car out because it sinks into the rubber :(

I can attest to what a PITA it is to keep RWLs clean and bright on a driver.

I'm don't think I'm liking it on your car. It doesn't really seem to go with a modern car, in most cases, even if the theme of the car is retro.

Typically it's referred to as RWL or "Raised White Letters" so I can only assume that's what he meant. OWL is a Harry Potter term and doesn't seem to apply here.

I suppose he could have meant Outside White Letters too...

I've seen tires with the letters outlined typed up as "ROWL" (raised outside white letter) so that could have also been what he was going for.

Manny: It's an AIRAID pre-filter. At the time Perrin only made their filters in red and it just didn't look right, so I sourced out a pre-filter to cover it up. I will more than likely be changing out my intake to a different one however by next season.

Frank: This is worse because they require re-painting everytime they fade. You can't clean them :( I can appreciate your opinion though I happen to adore it.

Sean: Maybe they call them OWLs in Canada? Never heard of the Harry Potter team either. I dislike Harry Potter

Ah OK. I've always heard that as ROWL (Raised Outside or Outlined White Letters)

Crystal, OWLs are actually similar to SATs here in America. They stand for Ordinary Wizarding Levels.

Ohhh Outlined letters are different than raised white letters to me. And I've never heard of this wizardry nonsense.
