I think it needs to be said that Adam requested he be banned for two weeks. However, if he kept going the way he was going he would have had an involuntary vacation.

Everyone needs to lighten up. Nothing needs to be so serious.

Body Kits: Most people don't like them, some do. Don't like them, then don't make a big stink about it.

SRT Hood Gap: Don't like it, who cares. Apparently the person that put the hood on their car doesn't mind it that much, so why should you.

This is just a few off the top of my head. The same idea goes for all off color or not well accepted ideas.

Yes, the repetative questions get old. However, with new members you will always have that. The search isn't the best because it seems like an old style search where you need to use specific keywords, it's not like modern Google where you can throw damn near anything in and end up with an answer.

Yeah the search isn't the best, but once you get used to it. It can be your best friend. (helped me out many of times).

I think the biggest problem with the search is that most of the people that need it never had to use old internet search engines.

Like from the mid 90s, they sucked major donkey dick compared to modern engines.

Adam made this forum more interesting... not gonna lie, along with Philly etc etc. It sucks to see another member bounce out like that :(

Sarcasm is a fine art, People just get way to wound up about shit. IMO. There are definitely a couple border line trolls that stick around this site but Adam WASN'T one of em. Eh its watever.

Lol, so it doesn't work at all?!

It comes and goes, always does. I've been really lacking in my project log because I haven't done anything to either of my project cars. I broke my NYG's tie rod a few months ago and didn't care to fix it. My 98's needed rear brakes since Carlisle, just don't feel like doing it. I'm going to work on my NYG this week, and I might have my brakes on sometime this month.

I know Adam was a great guy i use to talk to him a lot. I sent him racoons for the price of shipping which if i remember correctly was 10 bucks. I later found out that the one ended up getting moisture in it and i felt bad but he said after that it never got moisture again i believe. I will help anyone out if i have the ability to.

This. I thought I mentioned that. He told me a vacation was coming his way, and he volunteered himself for it anyway.

I had already planned to go to carlisle but the clutch went out in the Spirit which is my only means of transportation at the time. I really wish i would of made it. I wouldn't of been able to be cool and park with all the neons though i would of had to park with the rest of the 80s-90s cars. haha

lol! Didn't Frank mention lightening up and not getting butthurt? Aww fuck it, I don't really care. I got a good laugh out of your comment anyway!

As for the search... this is worth bringing up since it's been mentioned. Say you wanna search for kids running H&R springs on their neon. So you type in "H&R springs" and search in the Picture Post section. The problem comes from the search trying to use the & technically and not as a term. Is there some sort of escape sequence to search for what you really wanted, I.E. the &. Is it like && or what? This bothers me since I don't know how the search function is really doing it's searches. Keep this in mind... if it comes down to it, search the key terms in Google followed by 2gn and sometimes it will give you better thread results than searching here

Hagan i hate seeing your sig all the time, because it makes me miss my neon.
I still love how your car looks though.

Anyways back on topic yes a lot of good contributors have left and it seems like the forum is kind of dieing but i hope it jumps back to life. I still like this forum even though i'm like some of the members and have got rid of the neon. There is a lot of information to be had here whether it's for neons or in general really. I think a lot of things done here can easily be used on other cars.

Thanks man, I try to keep it clean lol

Yeah once you move on car wise, people will end up moving on forum wise.

I mean if you look at the "active members" a good amount of them dont have a neon anymore.

Things will get better soon
