TNK's driveway additions...

Well... Most of you know i bought my truck, which turned out to be more of a headache than anything, so it's sitting behind the garage waiting for a fuel pump... And you've all seen my Coupe... But have you seen this?

My '05 Yamaha FZ1.

Mama got herself a new ride too, a 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer, silver, manual trans, and coming from someone who hated Lancers... I dig it.

But the big news is what I'm getting tomorrow... When I found the little 05 SXT, I didnt realize what I had found. I thought it was a typo. I said to myself "SRT Turbo? WTF? That's an SXT!" Then I continued to scroll down the ad and discovered there was in fact an SRT motor swapped into this little silver SXT... And after talking to Hansken, and checking his thoughts on2GN, i discovered it's Nutmeg's old car. Here's a pic, but more will come...

the car is home, had a rough day and was late to work. gotta rebuild the turbo, i smokescreened most of Washington today. I like the car, just frustrated right now, but she'll get there. and Gramps, heydockyle is correct, i run premium in the Coupe because of my Mopar ECU, also run it in the FZ-1. Pics will come after cleaning the car, she's a mess.

nice find TNK. welcome to the srt swapped club man. dont let the frustration get to you with the car either man. When i got mine i had all kinds of issues beyone what the seller told me about, but now i love the car and its 21 pounds of boost i spike. If you need anything or what not you can shoot me a pm.

Thanks! I'm currently waiting for a reply from a local guy on a new turbofold, so I can just swap and go forward with checking the rest of the swap out. And then I'll probably have the current turbo rebuilt as a spare, or to possibly start a mild boost setup on the Coupe... I'm also starting to hunt for new exhaust, wanting a 3" single exit setup. Shoot me a pm if you've got any parts that you think I may find useful...

TNK right now only extra parts i have are front srt brake calipers and one rear caliper, lol. prob have a 3" maxxfabb dual exit catless exhaust for sale in the near future.

thanks guys. i should have a new turbo in the next couple days. local guy has one, claims only 2400 miles on it, but regardless of miles, it's only $150. so hopefully this weekend i can find time to swap it out and be back on the road. and yes, i love Yamahas too, this is my 2nd one.

I'm stoked TNK got the car. I didn't expect this, until I randomly logged onto 2GN today and found a few new PMs. As he said, there were some issues with the car. But with time (a lot which I didn't have) that car is a really kicker.

also..... keep the Placebo CD i left in the player
