Boy, were they wrong. Consumer Reports ragged on Chrysler for years about the Neon not having a 4-speed auto.

I see no reason why Chrysler Group can't do now what Chrysler Corporation did back in the 90's. I want a 3GN Neon!

Lol, it would look so dam goofy.

I wish the article wouldn't have ended so abruptly. It's like they came out with a prototype. The end.

yeah i was like wtf thats the end lol

we would look more like hondas a bet with rectangle headlights i like the goody ovals lol besides the oval provides more g forces and aerodynamic power by increasing flow in the grill area near the headlight fluid

NO! The ovoid headlights gave the 1GN its character. All cars had gone to rectangular headlights at that time so the ovals made the Neon very unique. I know, most on 2GN hate the whole "Hi!" ad campaign but, as I've said before, you had to be there to appreciate it. The car was completely out of left field, especially since it was a Chrysler product- took everyone by surprise. Not me though- I had my '95 on order even before the dealer had literature for it.
