Do you have? Shocks and springs Question

Post by SleepingSpeed » Thu Oct 21, 2010 5:16 pm

I was looking at purchasing some new shocks and springs for my car and was leaning towards some KYB GR2 shocks with megan racing springs does anyone have this setup or something close and how harsh is the ride.

This will be on a daily driver but it does see an autocross once in a while so I don't want pillow soft.

I might how much are you asking? Do you know how stiff the ride will be, and why are you getting rid of them?

Went back to stock wheels so dont really care about lowering anymore. Never had em on but they are supposed to be in between stock and stiff so they should ride nice. There are some ppl here using megans maybe they can chime in. Or do a search for megans here on the forum. They ride similiar to progress springs i am told. 120 shipped and im also including the shorter endlinks for ur rear sway bar

just as a warning the original paint on them cracks and peels off quickly and will rust, so if you can before you put them on, put a decent coat of paint on them.

I'm on Megan for a while and they are great. They give a pretty nice 2.0 overall lowered (not slammed actually) and the high spring rate feels most likely stock, but if you turn in a rapid corner you will feel the differences probably.
