Syncros need replacing

Syncros need replacing

Need some tips on good syncros for the neon mine are.... well i will show you photos when i get the chance but yeah i need to get them replaced with something a lil stronger then OEM

stock ones will hold up just fine so long as you are using good fluid, shifting properly, and use a shifter that has a rod brake (maddog) so you dont beat up the block rings. To be honest i dont think there even is a "performace syncro" for the neon. Which ones went out btw?

I'm not sure that replacment synchros are available new from Chrysler anymore, or which ones are ......

3, 4, 5 synchro's are available, but 1st and 2nd aren't. Nothing on the transfer shaft is serviced by chrysler.

Thank you for confirming this.
I knew there were some discontinued synchros; I couldn't remember which ones.

True, Chrysler will only sell new shafts, well over a thousand apiece.
To have one rebuilt, will need the services of one of the two outfits above.
